The conference will be held in the Hotel Grand Chancellor Christchurch, which is conveniently positioned in central Christchurch and within easy walk of major attractions and business centres.

The Hotel combines the comforts of a Qualmark rated, superior 4-star hotel with Christchurch's premier hotel meeting venue, providing conference space for up to 1200 delegates and a variety of first class breakout rooms. The venue features stunning views of the city and an abundance of natural light, with blackout facilities available for audiovisual presentations. Options for venue layout, staging and seating are very flexible and include access for vehicles and other large objects.

Accommodation begins on the 15th floor of the building and offers quiet, well-appointed and spacious guest rooms, with sweeping views over the city and Canterbury Plains to the snow capped Southern Alps.

Outstanding features of all guest rooms are their size, desk/work space, generous storage areas and natural light. The hotel also features 7 two bedroom and 4 one bedroom apartments with fully equipped kitchen, living and dining area.

A very competitive accommodation rate of $165.00 incl GST has been negotiated for the conference. Check in: 2.00pm – Check out: 10.00am

The conference has secured a block booking at the hotels. Rooms will be allocated on a first-in basis until Friday, 31 October 2008, as long as there are rooms available. After that date, all unallocated rooms will be released and no guarantee can be made that rooms will be available.

Booked accommodation must be guaranteed with either a credit card number or a deposit of at least one night’s deposit. The credit card will be used as a guarantee only and no charges will be debited prior to check-out.  If you prefer to prepay all your accommodation by cheque or direct credit then this can be done on the registration form.

Bookings should be made either as part of the online registration process or on the registration form and faxed to 03 3520197 or posted to the Conference Organiser, Glenda Harding, Harding Consultants Ltd, PO Box 5512, Christchurch.  On check-out, your accommodation costs can be settled with cash, eftpos or a credit card.

If you cancel your accommodation after Friday, 31 October 2008, your credit card may be charged a cancellation fee levied by the hotel.  Please advise Harding Consultants of any change to a reservation, rather than contacting the hotel itself.
