Social Programme and Technical Tour
Sunday 14 March
This year the technical tours take place on Sunday afternoon. They also link up with the conference’s opening welcome event.
There are two tour options:
1. North to Pegasus
2. Northwest to the Airport and CAPTIF

Both tours will connect in Lyttelton. Here there will be a tour of the Lyttelton Port facility covering sea freight transport links. Then there is the welcome event, sailing onboard the steam driven Tugboat Lyttelton and then to Harbour Lights for dinner, entertainment and networking.

The flavour and essence of Renaissance
Renaissance was an age in which artistic, social, scientific, and political thought all turned in new directions together. We felt that this fits superbly with the conference theme of “Making Connectionz”
Enjoy an evening of renaissance at the Christchurch Art Gallery – only a few minutes walk from the official hotels (transport will be provided if weather is unsuitable).
Dress code could be anything from the Renaissance period, including wearing masks, gold, glamour and glitz, feathers, peacock feathers, or just an evening dress (semi-formal to formal). If you google renaissance you will be surprised at the range of dress options there are. However, if you feel more comfortable in smart casual, that too would be fine.
There will be prizes for costumes.
